Fading Raindrops

What you will need:
Plugins: Supplies
Crescent Moon - FadeOut (HERE) Texture = ddbgfillm12
Graphics Plus - Quick Tile 1(HERE) Gradient = an3blu
VM Natural - Lightburst(HERE) raindrop accents
Eyecandy 3.1 - Motion Trail( HERE) Gold Pattern or gradient of choice
Eyecandy 3.1 - Glass ( HERE) Tube of choice size around 500 pixels in height
Supplies Here (Texture, gradient, and raindrop accents)
Written for PSP X

Skill Level:Intermediate

Preparation:
Open the accents provided and the
tubes you will use.
Minimize all except your header tube.
Place the gradient (an3blu.jgd) into your gradient folder .
Place the texture ddbgfillm12 into your textures folder.

Performance Notes:
All settings will remain the same unless otherwise specified.

Okay, let's have fun

Header


1. File > Open
Graphic of choice

2. Windows > Duplicate (Shift D)
Close the Original

3. Activate main canvas

4. Layers > Duplicate

5. Activate duplicate copy

6. Image > Resize
Settings:
Width = 85%
Height=85%
Resample using Bicubic = Checked
Lock aspect ratio = Checked
Resize all layers = Unchecked

7. Activate bottom layer

8. Effects > Plugins > Crescent Moon > FadeOut
Settings:
Red Amount = 153
Green Amount = 210
Blue Amount = 149
Transparency = 42
Note* You may need to adjust the settings to match your image

9. Layers > Opacity > 60%

10. Layers > New Raster Layer
Presets = Default
Settings:
Blend Mode = Normal
Opacity =100
Link set = 0
Layer is visible = Checked
Lock transparency = Unchecked

11. Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

12. Materials > Foreground > Gradient
Find gradient an3blu
Settings:
Angle = 45
Repeats = 1
Invert = Unchecked
Style = Linear
Right click to fill with gradient

13. Effects > Plugins > Crescent Moon > FadeOut

14. Activate raindrop2 tube

15. Edit > Copy

16. Activate main image

17. Edit > Paste as New Layer
Raindrops should be between your main images

18. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

19. Activate raindrop3

20. Edit > Copy

21. Activate your main canvas

22. Edit > Paste as New Layer

23. Image > Resize
Settings:
Height = 50% Percent
Width = 50% Percent

24. Mover Tool
Move raindrops a little to the left
so that most of the raindrops are
to the left of your image
Leave a few raindrops on your image

25. Effects > Plugins > Eyecandy 3.1 > Motion Trail
Settings:
Length = 52
Opacity = 81
Direction = 283

26. Activate raindrop2

27. Edit > Copy

28. Activate main canvas

29. Edit > Paste as New Layer

30. Image > Resize

31. Layers > Opacity
Settings:
Opacity = 50
Blend Mode = Multiply

32. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

Right click to fill with gradient

Color = light color from image
Right click in colored box to
choose your light color
It will be saved in memory

3. Activate your side border image

4. Edit > Paste as new layer

Move raindrop accent to bottom left of border

Shadow on new layer = Unchecked

16. Image > Canvas Size

Width = 1280 (or your preference)

Placement = Left Center

Left click to flood fill with medium color

21. Activate main tube image
Note* If your image will not
fit or look right on the border
you can use a complimentary
image or choose to skip the

23. Move Tool
move image to left of canvas under your border so that you can see part of the image through the square

24. Layers > Opacity

25. Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling

Tiling Method = Edge
Direction = Vertical

Transition = 50
26. File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
